In a poignant case of “be careful what you wish for”, I have found myself under a huge burden of work resulting from the recent funding of my research project. I had previously thought that the application process (forked into two major parts: grant and IRB) was the most grueling process in my life, but the project itself will require an entirely new level of effort.

I cannot disclose too much about the project, but I can say that it involves visual perception and studying known methods of attracting attention as well as finding new techniques.

I hope I will be able to write about all kinds of things relating to my project, but if things are quiet for a few days, know that I’m working hard and haven’t forgotten about you.
