Orientation and Dizziness
I returned from the University at Buffalo Orientation yesterday after spending the night in one of the quads and had a great time. It was such a terrifying time for everyone that even a simple “hello” would garner a close friend. After mulling around the tense campus for a few minutes, I greeted an equally panicky classmate and introduced myself. After only a few more awkward introductions, I was in the midst of a fun group that I spent the rest of the day with. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would have a similar opportunity if I don’t dorm, and I’m beginning to give up. There are only a few more scholarships that have not yet announced their winners, and I will likely remain about a thousand dollars short even with all of them. Hopefully, my day at orientation has plugged me into social network that can still use as a commuter.
Today, I’ve been at Six Flags Darien Lakes where I was peer-pressured into every roller coaster in the park. The countless loops and drops have left my head spinning, and I don’t think the painfully low refresh rate on my old computer is helping.
