Time, Part II

In this article, I discuss the purpose of time, and its importance in sustaining life. What would our world be like without time, or a different conception of time? This article attempts to leave the tangible foundation of Part I, but it is very difficult to explain such a difficult topic without some grounding in physics. As a result, the more conceptual aspects of this essay will likely require a quiet location that facilitates concentration.

The Beautiful Bay

While watching the rippling water in Miami tonight, I had an interesting thought concerning the relationship between time and motion.

Unfortunately, for those of you who dislike the physical basis of some of my articles, this epiphany is heavily founded on my recent interest in modern theoretical physics.

Time, a Metaphorical Representation

Time is a difficult, if not impossible, concept to visualize; therefore, a symbolic representation solves many conceptual problems and lets us focus on some of the more profound issues. This essay describes the change of time since its pure creation in an accessible metaphor.

Time, Part I

I have always been fascinated with the connection between philosophy and physics. Recently, books such as The Elegant Universe, and A Brief History of Time have given me countless ideas. The first that I will explore is time, with the opening part of this series focusing on its birth and its various forms.
