Philosophy 2.0
It looks like this whole “internet” thing is going to pan out after all, so I’ve decided to hold on to this site. After decades of toil, precisely 3.43 gallons of sweat and an equal amount of coffee, version two of Philosophy is here! I’ve spent quite a bit of time ensuring that everything works properly, but I would appreciate it if you would notify me of any quirks.
Behind the Scenes
First, the site is now hosted at Dreamhost, so hopefully things will be a little more stable around here.
Also, Philosophy is now running Textpattern 4.0; I had initially refrained from upgrading because I had hacked up my version so much. As a result, I’ve tried to stay away from the code to make future upgrades easier.
Up Front
Philosophy finally has an actual domain name…erraticwisdom.com. If you’re signed up with the Feedburner feed you should be fine, but if you have a direct bookmark go ahead and change it to erraticwisdom.com
In case you haven’t noticed already, this site is sporting a brand new look. I’m still going with the minimalist style, but hopefully it doesn’t look downright boring anymore. The content is now organized a little more evenly than before. The latest article will be featured in the top box, with older entries divided cleanly into their respective sections: Philosophy or Life.
The Forum
By far the biggest change is the addition of a new forum. Have a question of your own? Post it in the forum and kick up a debate. I’m hoping that the forum turns into a very active community and I think it’ll be a lot of fun. So go ahead and get registered Don’t worry about registering, just go ahead and start up a good conversation.

Hmm, there’s a little weirdness and flickering with the 9rules logo when I type in the comments box or mouse over the nav. I like it though. Congrats on the domain name and design.

I believe that’s a result of the Live Preview, but I didn’t think there would be flickering when mousing over the navigation. Could you specify what you were running so I could look into it?
